Do you know a girl with questions about college, careers, courses and how to turn her "inner nerd" into an exciting future? Soon she'll have some place to turn for answers. The IEEE Foundation has awarded preliminary grant funding support to the development of the new webseries "Ask Dr. Karen." The webseries will feature Dr. Karen Panetta, Professor of Engineering at Tufts University, Editor-in-Chief of Women in Engineering Magazine, and founder of the Nerd Girls. Dr. Panetta has been mentoring girls and young women who are interested in engineering and technical studies for over a decade. "Ask Dr. Karen" will be featured on the nerdgirls.com website.
